Tommy Tsunami Surf Camp is a week-long, half-day surf camp where kids spend time surfing, boogie boarding, enjoying the coastline, and practicing surfing skills. Each day includes a daily warm-up and stretching, time in the water, and a snack break, with lectures on ocean currents and safety and advanced surfing techniques on select days. The week ends with a Friday beach BBQ.

Tommy Tsunami Surf Camp is led by co-founder Thomas “Tommy Tsunami” Lundgard and his brother Pete, who founded Tommy Tsunami Surf School. The camp uses CPR-certified instructors, including Mavericks surfers, lifeguards, and teachers, and Peter became an Ocean Lifeguard for the State of California. The team includes 15 instructors and maintains a 3:1 surfer to surf instructor ratio. Surfboard and wetsuit are included in the camp price, and students are instructed to bring a towel, snacks, water, and sunscreen, with the option to bring their own wetsuit if they have one.
